How Slinkroll treats your information

This page explains in everyday words what we handle when you use the site. For questions specific to you, use your account page.

Where to ask

We do not publish a mailbox here. Anything about your data goes through your account page, where we can tell who is asking.

What we collect and why

To run an account we need a way to sign you in, a balance, and a record of your baskets and orders. Without them the shop cannot work.

Orders carry the page you want linked and the keyword or instructions you chose. Those details go to the host so the placement can be written and published.

Browsing the public pages does not require an account. Some technical data, such as the pages requested and the time, is processed to keep the service running and to spot abuse.

What we do not do

We do not sell your account details. We do not use your orders to build a public list of who linked to what.

Links you buy appear on the host site, so the target page of an order is public once the placement is live. That is how links work. Plan for it when you choose what to promote.

Be careful what you paste into instruction fields. Treat those fields as text that a writer and a host may read.

Who sees what

You

Your account details, baskets, orders and balance, plus invoices when you ask for them.

Hosts

A host sees the content and link of an order placed on its site, not your account.

Payment handling

Balances are topped up in the dashboard. Payment details are handled according to the method you pick there.

Us

We see what the service needs to run, review orders and answer your requests.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to remove your account. Use the account page. We will tell you what we can do.

We may update this page as the service changes. The date at the top shows the last revision. Keep an eye on it.

If you publish on the marketplace, we handle the details you give about your site and the placements you approve, because payouts and records depend on them.

We keep information only as long as the service reasonably needs it for running accounts, records and abuse prevention. Ask through the account page if you want specifics about your own account.
